Ford, in an exciting announcement, confirmed its promise to launch at least one model in each segment in Brazil in 2024. Among the stars of this automotive spectacle is the much-anticipated new generation of the Ford Mustang, a respected and feared icon on the roads. The delay for the launch in Brazil, now scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, promises to make up for it with an impressive technological package and outstanding performance, according to CanalTech.

Initially scheduled for late 2023, the new generation Ford Mustang faced some last-minute changes due to operational issues. Daniel Justo, President of Ford South America, assured that the automaker’s strategy is to end the year on a high note, prioritizing the launch of the Ranger Raptor. Thus, the arrival of the Mustang has been strategically postponed to the early months of 2024.

Power and Technology in the New Generation of the Mustang 2024

Enthusiasts can expect a high-end version of the Mustang 2024, potentially equipped with the powerful 5.0 V8 Coyote engine, which delivers an impressive 486 hp and 57.3 kgf/m of torque in the United States. This machine can take the GT Fastback Premium from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, thanks to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

In addition to brute strength, the new generation Mustang 2024 will incorporate the most advanced technology and safety features. The Ford Co-Pilot 360 package, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), will be present. It includes forward collision warning with automatic braking, speed sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane centering assistance, evasive steering assistance, and automatic braking in reverse. The new feature is Active Pothole Mitigation, which actively monitors the vehicle’s suspension, providing electronically adjusted driving to respond to the driver’s commands.
