Structure of the Polyclinic and Services Provided in the SUS
The polyclinics proposed in the New PAC Health focus on expanding the availability of specialized services and strengthening diagnostic support in the public network.
In the case of the Dourados unit, the project published by the Ministry of Health foresees the installation of ultrasound rooms, CT scans, and areas dedicated to rehabilitation.
Areas for diagnostic imaging and graphics examinations are also planned.
The proposal also includes the implementation of the so-called purple rooms, aimed at welcoming victims of violence, in accordance with guidelines adopted by the SUS in different regions of the country.
Additionally, the unit will carry out minor procedures and clinical consultations, with the participation of medical teams and multidisciplinary teams.

According to the ministry, the definition of the services offered follows criteria related to the epidemiological profile of the population served.
The proposal is to concentrate, in one space, different stages of care, such as consultations and examinations, as described in the program’s institutional documents.
Signing Ceremony and Speech by the Mayor of Dourados
The authorization for the start of construction was formalized during an event held at the City Hall of Dourados, with the presence of representatives from local government.

“It’s another good piece of news for the people of Dourados, which is the construction of the polyclinic,” said the mayor during the ceremony.
“It’s a wonderful structure that, I’m sure, will serve the population of our city well.”
In institutional material released by the city hall, Marçal Filho also mentioned the need for planning to ensure the operation of the unit after the construction is completed.
