Haojue Model Bets on Technology, Economy, and Urban Adventure Style to Compete with Honda NXR 160 Bros and Yamaha Crosser in the 160cc Segment.
The Haojue DL 160 is the new bet from JTZ Motos for the Brazilian market. Marketed as a 160cc crossover equipped with two-channel ABS brakes and an adventurous look, the motorcycle aims to attract those seeking versatility for daily use and short trips. The newcomer arrives to directly compete with two segment leaders: the Honda NXR 160 Bros and the Yamaha XTZ 150 Crosser.
According to information obtained from Abraciclo’s report (Brazilian Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers), 241 units of the Haojue DL 160 have already been assembled in Manaus (AM) in March 2025, ahead of the national launch scheduled for May.
Urban Crossover Design Marks New Phase for Haojue
The Haojue DL 160 has been designed to offer a “City Adventure” experience, combining adventure style with urban characteristics. Unlike traditional trail bikes, it features 17-inch alloy wheels both front and rear, instead of the traditional 19-inch wheels of competitors.

Jaecoo 7 with super hybrid SHS system exceeds 1,200 km of combined range with a 1.5 turbo engine, high-density battery, and intelligent energy management.
The model uses tubeless mixed-use tires, reinforcing its capability to handle both asphalt and light dirt road sections. The imposing look includes stacked dual LED headlights, reminiscent of the famous Suzuki V-Strom – not by coincidence, since Haojue is a partner of Suzuki in China.
Another highlight of the design is the fully digital instrument panel, with a blackout background and comprehensive information, following the trend of premium models.
Engine and Performance: Urban Efficiency and Surprising Range
Under the fuel tank, the Haojue DL 160 features a single-cylinder 162 cm³ air-cooled engine, capable of delivering 14.9 hp of power at 8,000 rpm and 1.42 kgf.m of torque at 6,000 rpm. The transmission consists of five speeds, suitable for urban use and highway travel.
According to the brand’s internal data, the motorcycle promises range of up to 650 km, considering the large fuel tank and the engine’s efficiency – an important advantage for those seeking economy and fewer stops for refueling.
The suspension system includes a telescopic fork in the front and a rear monoshock, reinforcing the comfort proposal for daily use as well as for urban and intercity adventures.
Safety: Standard Two-Channel ABS
A clear advantage of the Haojue DL 160 over many competitors is the presence of standard two-channel ABS brakes, offering greater safety in sudden stops, both on dry and wet surfaces.
This choice positions the new 160cc crossover as one of the safest in its category, distinguishing it from the Bros and Crosser, which offer single-channel ABS in some versions.
Estimated Price and Arrival at Stores
Although the official price has not yet been confirmed by JTZ Motos, the expectation is that the Haojue DL 160 will hit the market with a value close to R$ 21,000. This positioning is based on the current price list of other models from the brand, such as the DR 160S (R$ 20,450) and the trail NK 150 (R$ 18,580).
The official presentation to the Brazilian public is scheduled for May 7, 2025, with immediate sales to begin at Haojue dealerships across the country.
Haojue DL 160 Promises to be the New Highlight Among Urban and Adventure Motorcycles
With a combination of modern design, fuel efficiency, high range, and enhanced safety, the new Haojue DL 160 emerges as an interesting alternative for those seeking a complete 160cc crossover. Its setup may appeal to both urban motorcyclists and those looking for an option for short off-road rides.
The arrival of the Haojue DL 160 in Brazil reinforces the growth of the mixed-use motorcycle market, which already represents about 20% of the motorcycles registered in the country, according to Abraciclo data.
The model promises to intensify the competition between the popular Honda Bros and Yamaha Crosser, now with the strength and technology of a new competitor in the market.
