With Technical Visits in Vila Velha, Campos, Macapá, Boa Vista, Ariquemes, and Caldas Novas, Havan Prepares Six New Megastores for 2026, Expects More Than One Thousand Direct Jobs, and Reinforces the Goal of Closing the Year with 200 Stores in All States on the 40th Anniversary of the Chain
Havan confirmed that it has launched an aggressive national expansion plan, with the opening of six new megastores throughout 2026 and the promise of exceeding the mark of one thousand direct jobs created with this new investment cycle. The retailer also reaffirmed its intention to close 2026 with 200 stores in operation and a presence in all Brazilian states, coinciding with the 40th-anniversary celebrations of the company.
According to the ndMais portal, during the same week of the announcement, the network’s expansion director, Nilton Hang, visited Vila Velha, Campos dos Goytacazes, Macapá, Boa Vista, Ariquemes, and Caldas Novas in a series of technical visits that included meetings with city halls, project presentations, and land assessments. These stops solidify the map of upcoming openings and indicate that Havan is accelerating its construction schedule for 2026.
Visits Confirm Six New Havan Megastores in Strategic Cities
According to the company, the six new Havan megastores planned for 2026 will be installed in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo, Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Macapá, Amapá, Boa Vista, Roraima, Ariquemes, Rondônia, and Caldas Novas, Goiás. Together, these units are expected to guarantee more than a thousand direct jobs and strengthen the network’s presence in all regions of the country.

Havan will leave the shopping mall in Blumenau to inaugurate something that the chain has never done before: a megastore in half-timbered style in the Historic Center of the city, which is expected to be completed in May and change the landscape of local retail.
During the visits, Nilton Hang met with mayors and technical teams from each municipality to detail the projects, analyze road access, and check the viability of the selected lands.
The on-site assessment is internally regarded as a decisive step to confirm the construction schedule and the final format of the new Havan structures.
Vila Velha Prepares Land and Will Receive Second Store in Espírito Santo
In Vila Velha, the land that will host the new Havan megastore is already undergoing preparation for the start of construction in the first half of 2026.
The future unit will be located on Carlos Lindenberg Avenue, near the intersection with Darly Santos Highway, in an area of about ten thousand square meters, according to the project presented to the municipality.
The new store will be the second Havan location in Espírito Santo and the first in the metropolitan region of the capital.
The choice of the site took into account easy road access and the high consumption demand of the region, factors identified by Nilton Hang as decisive for determining the location of the Capixaba megastore.
First Havan Stores in Macapá and Boa Vista Expand Presence in the North
In Amapá, Havan will land in Macapá with its first unit in the state, at a symbolic address: near the Marco Zero square, an area known as Meio do Mundo.
This location reinforces the network’s strategy of occupying high-traffic areas with strong tourist appeal, betting on the building’s visibility as a showcase for the brand.
Boa Vista, the capital of Roraima, is also expected to receive its first Havan store, with negotiations considered advanced by the company.
The arrival in the extreme North expands the network’s reach and brings the company closer to its goal of being present in all Brazilian states by the end of 2026.
Ariquemes and Caldas Novas Join the List of Upcoming Openings
In Ariquemes, Rondônia, the inauguration of the new Havan megastore is set for the first half of 2026, although the company has not yet disclosed a specific opening date.
Technical teams are working on detailing the project and final alignment with local authorities to authorize the start of construction.
Meanwhile, in Caldas Novas, Goiás, the project is advancing to the final contract phase, with an expected opening still in 2026.
The Goiás city, known for its thermal water tourism, is seen by Havan as a hub with a significant flow of visitors and potential to attract consumers from various regions, which enhances the company’s national expansion plan.
Goal is to Reach All States and Celebrate 40 Years with 200 Megastores
The founder of Havan, Luciano Hang, emphasizes that the goal is to close 2026 with 200 megastores scattered across the country, aligning the network’s growth with the celebration of the company’s 40-year history.
According to the businessman, the accelerated expansion is part of a long-term project designed to consolidate the retailer as one of the main references in the sector in Brazil.
He states that each Havan store receives an investment of about 100 million reais and generates 200 direct jobs.
Considering the six new megastores announced, the package represents at least 1,200 jobs just in this phase of the plan, in addition to stimulating the construction sector and the service chain in the chosen cities.
The company highlights that it sees the expansion program as a direct contribution to the economic and social development of municipalities.
Eight Openings Are Already Guaranteed for the First Half of 2026
In addition to the six megastores in advanced negotiations, Havan already has eight openings confirmed for the first half of 2026.
The list includes Goiânia, Goiás, Curitiba and Maringá, Paraná, Garibaldi and Taquara, Rio Grande do Sul, Blumenau and Tijucas, Santa Catarina, as well as Ariquemes, Rondônia, which also appears among the new projects inspected this week.
With this schedule, Havan signals that 2026 will be a year of intense store openings, consolidating national presence, and preparing for the symbolic milestone of 40 years.
The combination of new markets, reinforcement in strategic locations, and heavy investments per unit indicates that the competition for space in the large retail sector is set to intensify in the coming months.
And you, do you think Havan will manage to reach all states and close 2026 with 200 megastores, or is the plan too ambitious given the current retail situation in Brazil?
