Honda SP160 – Revolution in the Market for R$ 7,000: New Model Launched by Honda Motorcycles to Dominate Market Leadership, Offers Customers a 10-Year Warranty!

Honda has just raised the bar in the global motorcycle market with the introduction of the new SP160 in the Indian market. The bike is offered at a surreal price of R$ 7,000 and comes with an unprecedented 10-year warranty. This model, inspired by the best-selling CG160 – the sales leader in Brazil, stands out for its modern and technological features such as LED headlights and taillights, ABS brakes, and a digital panel, elements that highlight the SP160 as an attractive and innovative option for motorcycle enthusiasts.

With the launch of the Honda SP160, the Japanese manufacturer promises to dominate the segment, delivering not only quality but also confidence to its consumers.

Get to Know the New Honda Motorcycle Better

Equipped with a 162.7 cm³ single-cylinder engine, coupled with a five-speed gearbox, the Honda SP160 positions itself as a natural evolution of the CG160, but with nuances that make it unique. Although it runs exclusively on gasoline and has a slightly lower power output of 13.2 hp at 7,500 rpm, the bike ensures efficiency and adequate performance for daily use. The model features two brake configurations, standing out for its safety and adaptability to consumer preferences. Additionally, the aesthetics of the SP160 are enhanced by a sportier and more detailed fairing, giving it a distinctive look.

Will the SP160 Motorcycle Be Sold in Brazil?

Initially launched in the Indian market, the Honda SP160 has the potential to transform the Brazilian motorcycle landscape if introduced in the country. The combination of an affordable price, 10-year warranty, and advanced technical features positions the SP160 prominently, ready to compete not only with traditional models but also with options offered by competitors such as the Shineray Worker 125. With Honda leading the way, the future of motorcycles looks promising, filled with innovation, accessibility, and unmatched quality.

To the delight of Brazilians, the MOTOO team discovered that Honda registered the patent of the SP160 in Brazil. The model, originating from India, can be considered a “sister of the CG 160” and its registration was submitted to the National Institute of Industrial Property (Inpi).

However, not everything is rosy; this process, however, does not ensure the sale of the SP160 in Brazil, but serves as protection against possible design copies by other companies. Aimed at the Indian market, the SP160 features an attractive package with LED lights, a 13.4-horsepower engine, and ABS on the front wheel. The price reported in India also makes the model interesting in terms of cost.

New Honda Motorcycle Sold for R$ 7,000

Sold for R$ 7,000, the new motorcycle from Honda Motorcycles stands out for its more elaborate design and improved sporty aesthetics, distancing itself from the simplicity of the CG. The design of the passenger grab handle has also been modernized. With tires sized 80/100 R17 in front and 130/70 R17 in the back, and a tank with a capacity of up to 12 liters, the bike is designed to impress.

Interestingly, Honda decided to keep the kickstart system in this model, a feature quite common in bikes in the Indian market, in addition to offering electric start. Regarding the price, the bike is sold in India for approximately 117,500 rupees, which is equivalent to about R$ 7,000, representing excellent cost-effectiveness, especially considering the similarities with the Brazilian CG160. The standard warranty is 3 years, with the option to extend it up to 10 years.

Shineray, Honda’s Rival, Has Been Attracting Attention in the Market with Launches of Cheap Motorcycles

Honda’s rival, Shineray, has also been gaining attention in the market with affordable models, such as the Worker 125, which has a price of R$ 8,490. This model comes with a 123.67 cm³ engine, delivering 7.2 horsepower and a torque of 0.80 kgfm, appealing to a wide consumer base.

Additionally, this model benefits from a mechanical four-speed gearbox, disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the back, as well as electric and kickstart options. Launched in 2021, the Worker 125 presents itself as strong competition, priced at approximately R$ 8,490, and positioning itself as an excellent alternative for consumers.

Este valor que vocês dizem deve ser em outro Brasil ,pois pode lançar uma moto por um mil reais ,porém os imposto colocado sobre a mercadoria encarece em muitos sem contar com a documentação.
