IFAL has set an initial basic salary of R$ 3,090.43, a value that varies according to the work regime and the server’s qualification. However, remuneration can significantly increase with the Remuneration by Qualification.
Professors with specialization, master’s, or doctoral degrees can reach salaries of up to R$ 13,288.85. Additionally, the institute offers benefits such as meal assistance for a 40-hour workweek, transportation assistance, preschool assistance, and supplemental health assistance.

Stages Of The IFAL Public Competition
The selection process will consist of four phases, organized to assess both theoretical knowledge and teaching practice. Firstly, all candidates will take a written exam composed of objective and subjective questions.
Subsequently, most areas will undergo a performance evaluation. For candidates in the Music field, IFAL will apply a didactic and instrumental performance test. Later, the committee will analyze the academic titles of the qualified candidates.
Finally, the competition will include the procedure for hetero-identification and validation of self-declarations, in accordance with current legislation. This structure aims to ensure transparency and equity in all stages.
Validity Period Expands Future Opportunities
The IFAL public competition will be valid for up to two years, counted from the homologation of the final result in the Official Federal Gazette. The institution may extend this period only once, for the same duration.
