The IMC has concluded an agreement to sell KFC Brazil to Kentucky Foods Chile in a deal announced after the market close, totaling US$ 25 million and part of the company’s financial restructuring plan.

The transaction is taking place now, involves Brazil, depends on regulatory approvals, and aims to strengthen the company’s capital structure while repositioning its market presence.

Kentucky Foods Chile Takes Control of KFC Brazil

International Meal Company reported that it has finalized the sale of its remaining stake in KFC Brazil to Kentucky Foods Chile. The total value of the operation reaches US$ 25 million.

Of this amount, US$ 5 million will be paid upfront at the time of signing the contract. The remainder will be settled according to the conditions agreed upon between the parties.
