The Promising Rise of Onshore Oil

The leading manufacturer of road equipment, Implementos SP, strategically located in Mossoró (RN), celebrated the delivery of its third batch of essential machinery to PetroReconcavo and its partner, Poriguar E&P. With a projection of increased onshore oil exploration by 2032, Matusalém Oliveira, Commercial Manager of Implementos SP, emphasizes the company’s readiness to meet and support these growing demands in the sector.

The Energy Research Company (EPE) points to an optimistic trajectory: onshore oil production is expected to grow by 64.5% by 2032. This projection positions Brazil to extract around 153 thousand barrels daily. For context, in 2022, this number was around 93 thousand barrels per day.

Impactful Delivery

Implementos SP’s contribution to this promising scenario includes the delivery of four fluid tanks, two oil pumps, two ESCPs (essential for transporting devices in gas combustion), and two pipe yards, addressing the maintenance and repair needs of pipelines. These ten road implements are key elements for the effective operation of rigs and other tools in the onshore exploration of oil and gas.

PetroReconcavo, meanwhile, establishes itself as one of the giants in onshore exploration in Rio Grande do Norte, extending its operations also to Bahia. In Potiguar territory, the company boasts 32 direct exploration concessions and a strategic alliance.

Founded in 2007, Implementos SP takes pride in its facilities in Mossoró, covering a total of 35 thousand square meters, of which 5,500 m² are built infrastructure. The production capacity is impressive: approximately 400 annual products, meeting a wide range of demands in the road and urban markets. From specialized bodies to multifunctional semitrailers, the company demonstrates versatility and innovation, ensuring customized solutions for special projects.
