About the Port of Imbetiba
The history of the Port of Imbetiba is closely linked to the development of Macaé. The area was acquired by Petrobras in the 70s, after the discovery of oil and gas reserves in the Campos Basin.
The Port of Imbetiba operates with six berths, all in operation, receiving about 300 moorings per month. It also serves the general cargo demand for the Papa-terra Field production units, operated by Petrobras.
Currently, the Porto de Imbetiba operation is under the command of CPVV. The contract with the company, which began in 2017, is expected to end at the end of this year.
