The Future Of Sustainable Energy Is Beyond Solar Panels

Solar energy in Brazil has just reached an impressive milestone: 42 gigawatts (GW) of installed capacity, equivalent to three Itaipu hydroelectric plants, according to data from the Brazilian Solar Energy Association (Absolar). With more than three million solar systems installed in homes and other properties, sustainability and cost savings on electricity bills are increasingly accessible. However, many are still unaware that conventional photovoltaic systems, in the event of power outages, do not offer solutions due to their On Grid operation, without battery storage.

The Innovation Of Hybrid Inverters

To achieve true energy independence, it is necessary to go beyond solar panels. The answer lies in hybrid inverters, and a company from Curitiba is leading this innovation in Brazil. NHS Sistemas de Energia presents the NHS Hybrid Quad Solar Energy System, which combines On Grid and Off Grid functionalities. This innovative system enables the efficient and economical generation, storage, and monitoring of energy. Additionally, properties that already have solar panels can adapt the system through a retrofit.

According to Fabio Moro, commercial and marketing director of NHS, “There is a lack of awareness that on-grid solar solutions, which are the most common, can solve the problem of the utility’s power outages, but that’s not true. What’s most interesting is that those who already have a solar system installed can adjust and utilize part of their system for this new technology and never worry about power outages again.”

Clean And Uninterrupted Energy

The NHS Quad Solar UPS uses photovoltaic energy with battery storage. This means that even when the power grid fails, it’s still possible to rely on clean and uninterrupted energy. “This is the future. For the past few years, we have been developing our equipment that uses photovoltaic energy with battery storage, so that consumers can ensure and benefit from energy as it should be—uninterrupted, high-quality, and, of course, ensure savings on the electricity bill,” explains Moro.

Fabio Moro also emphasizes that sales have significantly increased compared to the first quarter of last year, and the demand for consultations and quotes has risen sixfold in the same period. Hybrid inverters are already installed in various clients across Brazil, including high-end homes, rural properties, and inns in regions like Ilha do Mel (PR). The solutions address diverse needs, such as pharmacies that require constant refrigeration for vaccines and medications, and restaurants that depend on refrigerators to maintain stocks and on scales during lunchtime. “The system is fully customized, and our engineers calculate what is necessary to ensure the autonomy the client needs for a certain number of hours until the energy is restored by the utility,” concludes the director.

NHS Hybrid Quad: Technology And Sustainability

Solar panels capture sunlight, and the NHS Hybrid Quad inverter transforms that energy into the same energy provided by the grid. This generated energy can power homes, businesses, and rural properties, significantly contributing to the agribusiness sector. The surplus energy is directed to the utility company, generating credits and resulting in savings on the energy bill.

Furthermore, the NHS Hybrid Quad offers energy storage in battery backups. In cases of power outages, the system is automatically activated, ensuring the supply of energy for essential loads. With four functions in a single solution – generation, storage, monitoring, and savings – the system stands out as a viable and efficient alternative for energy independence.

The expertise of NHS Sistemas de Energia allows them to deliver solutions that fully meet the needs of agribusiness, providing energy stability, security, loss reduction, uninterrupted production, and contributing to the sustainable development of the sector.

Ainda a poucas companhias que oferecem essa opção, muitas das vezes com preços muito elevados.
Vcs têm indicação de companhias usam esse sistema e atende no RJ??
