Open Opportunities Cover Multiple Specialties and Defined Stages with Confirmed Dates
The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) confirmed on June 30, 2025, the opening of 300 higher education positions. The positions are for the role of Social Security Analyst, within the Unified National Competition. Salaries can reach R$ 9,371.31, with a weekly workload of 40 hours. Therefore, professionals from various fields have until July 20 to complete their registrations. It is necessary to access the official website of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the organizer of the selection process. For this, registration on the gov.br portal is required. In addition, payment of the fee of R$ 70 is needed, a flat rate for all positions.
Positions Cover Multiple Specialties
The 300 opportunities are distributed across various areas. This considerably increases the chances for candidates of different profiles. There are 150 positions for social service, 75 for physiotherapy, 7 for psychology, and 6 for occupational therapy. In addition, there are 19 for information technology, 2 for telecommunications engineering, 1 for electrical engineering, 2 for mechanical engineering, 5 for civil engineering, 5 for accounting, 4 for administration, 17 for law, and 7 for statistics. The positions cover all Brazilian regions — North, Northeast, Central-West, Southeast, and South. Some specific cities are yet to be defined in the announcement. This distribution follows the thematic block model, repeating the format previously adopted by the federal government in 2024.
Competition Brings New Block Model
Another relevant point is the structuring of opportunities through thematic blocks. These blocks group agencies with similar areas of operation.
The government defined a total of nine blocks: Social Security — Health, Social Assistance, and Pension; Culture and Education; Science, Data, and Technology; Engineering and Architecture; Administration; Socioeconomic Development; Justice and Defense; Intermediate — Health; and Intermediate — Regulation. In the case of INSS, the vacancies are concentrated in four blocks. They are: Social Security (238 opportunities), Science, Data, and Technology (19), Engineering and Architecture (10), and Administration (33). Thus, the candidate can apply for more than one position within the same block. It is important to indicate the order of preference at the time of registration.
