The Federal Institute of Alagoas (IFAL) is pleased to announce the opening of registrations for 161 spots in free technical courses subsequent to high school. The Flexibility of Distance Education (EAD)
One of the main advantages of the free technical courses at IFAL is the flexibility they offer to students. Most of the learning occurs in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVEA), allowing students to access study materials and participate in discussions and activities at any time and from anywhere. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to attend an in-person meeting once a week in their chosen municipality, making the learning process even more accessible.

IFAL is committed to inclusion and equality of opportunities. Half of the available spots are reserved for candidates who have studied in public schools. Moreover, there are quotas for those who prove a monthly family gross income per capita equal to or less than one and a half minimum wages, for those who self-declare as Black, Brown, Indigenous, and people with disabilities. The option for affirmative action beneficiary (quota holder) must be indicated at the time of registration.
Fair and Transparent Selection Process
The selection process for these free distance education technical courses at IFAL is conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Applicants will be selected and classified through an examination, and the ranking will be determined according to the highest scores and age.
