CEFET-MG Opens Public Competition for 14 Positions in Administrative Roles With Salaries of Up to R$ 4,556.92; Applications Until 11/11/2024.

The Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG) announced the opening of a new public competition for the hiring of administrative staff. The publication of the announcement occurred in the Official Gazette of the Union on the morning of last Monday, September 9. The competition offers 14 immediate vacancies and a reserve list for various positions, covering different levels of education and specializations.

The announcement no. 02/2024 provides opportunities for technical and administrative positions in various areas.

The available positions are Information Technology Technician (3 vacancies), Laboratory Technician in the areas of Chemistry (2 vacancies), IT (2 vacancies), Clothing (1 vacancy), Design and Publishing (1 vacancy), Traffic (1 vacancy), Electromechanics (1 vacancy), and Mechanics (1 vacancy).

Test Structure and Schedule

The competition will consist of two main stages: an objective test and a written test.

The tests are scheduled for February 9, 2025, and will be held in several cities, including Belo Horizonte and its metropolitan area, Araxá, Leopoldina, and Divinópolis. The test locations will be announced on the official website starting February 3, 2025.

The objective test will consist of 50 questions divided as follows:

10 questions on Portuguese language
10 questions on legislation
10 questions on logical and mathematical reasoning
20 questions on specific knowledge

The preliminary official answer keys for the objective tests will be available on the official website starting February 10, 2025.

Benefits and Validity of CEFET Competition

The candidates approved in the competition will receive salaries ranging from R$ 2,667.19 to R$ 4,556.92, depending on the position and the candidate’s qualifications.

In addition to salaries, employees will be entitled to benefits such as a food allowance of R$ 1,000.00, transportation allowance, pre-school assistance, supplemental health care, and incentives for qualification, according to current regulations.

The validity period of the competition is two years from the date of its certification and may be extended for another two years if necessary.
