Now Starting At R$ 175 Thousand, The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4X4 Lost Items Like Electrochromic Rearview Mirror And Rain Sensor, But Keeps 4×4 Traction And Off-Road Robustness. Is The Discount Worth The Losses?

The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4X4 2025 has hit the market with a significant price reduction, being about R$ 14 thousand cheaper than the previous model. However, this price cut also brought the exclusion of some important equipment. This raises a crucial question: is it still worth investing in this model? Let’s analyze the details to help you decide.

What Changed In The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4X4 In 2025?

One of the biggest news for 2025 is the more competitive price. Starting at R$ 175,000, the Trailhawk 4X4 enters a process of “democratization of all-wheel drive.” Now, it costs the same as the Sahara 4×2 version, expanding options for those looking for a robust SUV.

Despite the more accessible price, the model lost some items, such as the electrochromic rearview mirror, rain sensor, adaptive high beam, and blind spot monitoring. For those who appreciate conveniences, these absences can weigh. On the other hand, it retains essential off-road equipment, such as the terrain selector and descent assist.

Comparison With Other Versions Of The Renegade

The 2025 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4x4 is available in the Brazilian market for R$ 179,990.

The Trailhawk stands out for its all-wheel drive system, increased approach angle (30.8 degrees), and higher ground clearance (20.2 cm). The Sahara version, having 4×2 traction, is more focused on urban use and offers a superior comfort package, including a sunroof and more sophisticated finishes.

With bumpers adjusted to improve trail performance and mixed-use tires (70% asphalt and 30% dirt), the Trailhawk is ideal for those facing dirt roads, steep ramps, or even that tricky shopping mall parking.

Performance Of The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4X4

The 1.3 Turbo T270 engine delivers up to 185 hp with ethanol, but the extra weight of the 4×4 traction increases fuel consumption. In tests, the model recorded averages of 7.8 km/l in the city and 12.7 km/l on the highway with gasoline. With ethanol, the consumption is higher, but performance remains solid.

In the city, the Renegade offers a smooth ride and suspension tuned to handle bumps and potholes effortlessly. Off-road, the 4×4 traction with differential lock ensures stability on rough terrain, maintaining Jeep’s adventurous DNA.

Competition And Alternatives In The Market

Among the compact SUVs with 4×4 traction, the Trailhawk faces the Suzuki Jimny, known for its off-road performance but with limitations in comfort and technology. Meanwhile, models like the T-Cross and Creta compete on price but do not offer the robustness of all-wheel drive.

If you are the type of driver who loves exploring trails or seeks more safety on uneven terrain, the Trailhawk is a surefire choice. However, for exclusive urban use, the Sahara may be more suitable, focusing on comfort and extra features.

Is It Worth Investing In The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 4X4?

Although it has lost some equipment, the Trailhawk remains a unique option among compact SUVs. Its 4×4 traction and robustness make it ideal for those seeking a versatile vehicle, capable of tackling both the city and light trails.
