About Usina Santa Adélia 

Usina Santa Adélia was founded in 1937 and has two plants located in the cities of Jaboticabal and Pereira Barreto in São Paulo. 

The company has approximately 3.000 employees, who contribute to the company's growth. The plant has a rigorous quality standard in the production of sugar and ethanol. In addition, the plant generates electricity from the burning of sugarcane bagasse, which guarantees internal consumption and the sale of the surplus to the National Interconnected System. 

Irrigation Operator I 

Prerequisites: 

• Complete high school; 
• CNH B or Higher. 

Some of the main duties:  

• Monitor the operations of irrigation systems by pivots, drips and reels; 
• Turn on and off irrigation equipment, handle and control the applied depths, following the guidelines of area leaders and operational procedures; 
• Carry out and monitor the operation of intakes, reservoirs, water mains, valves, valves, motor pumps, floating hoses, hoses, fertilizer injectors, generators, pivots, drips and reels, checking all their functionality and taking the necessary and appropriate actions in cases of stops or inappropriate operations; 
• Assist the tractor driver in installing the reels to the pipe hydrants, aiming at the proper functioning of the irrigation service. 

Precision Agriculture Technician 

Prerequisites: 

• Complete Technical Course in Agriculture, Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Process Automation Technician; 
• Knowledge of GPS (Global Positioning System), electronics/technology embedded in agricultural machinery and basic electrical; 
• CNH B. 

Some of the main duties: 

• Transport the necessary files from the office to the field in order to ensure the use of embedded technology in agricultural machinery; 
• Calibrate the equipment to ensure the quality of the service proposed by the use of embedded technology; 
• Carry out electrical tests to identify anomalies in technology equipment embedded in agricultural machinery; 
• Assist mechanics and electricians in solving problems that impact the performance of technology equipment; 

• Perform installations and uninstallation of technology equipment on agricultural machinery. 

Agricultural Assistant 

Prerequisites:  

• Complete primary education. 

Some of the main duties: 

• Operate the pump, in order to guarantee irrigation with safety and quality standards, in addition to preserving the useful life of the equipment, operating as determined by the procedure; 
•  Eliminate risks of leaks in the pipes and change the pipe or its connections whenever they present these ruptures; 
• Carry out the assembly and disassembly of the irrigation tubes and connections as determined by the operating procedure.
