Uber announced a turnaround for 2025: several cars will no longer be able to operate on Uber due to changes in vehicle acceptance rules. Uber Black: More Exclusive Criteria
The Black category, recognized as Uber’s most luxurious, will have more demanding acceptance rules. In addition to maintaining the requirement for classic colors such as black, graphite, silver, and navy blue, vehicles will need to meet specific manufacturing year limits, which vary by city.
