The announcement for Admission to the Technical Staff of the Navy’s Corps of Non-Commissioned Officers (CP-QTPA/2019) has been released. The available positions are for Technical High School level in the fields of Electroelectronics and Mechanics.
The main responsibility of the Navy’s Corps of Non-Commissioned Officers is the manning of the Navy’s ships, submarines, and aircraft; the first rank is Third Sergeant and the last one is Chief Petty Officer. This competition aims to admit Technical High School graduates for the following Areas/Specialties: Electroelectronics/Internal Communications and Electricity; Mechanics/Machines and Engines.
Requirements
Those interested in participating must be at least 18 years old and under 25 years old on the first day of January 2020, in addition to having completed or being in the process of completing the technical high school course related to the area they wish to enroll in and must be male, according to item 3 of the announcement.

Technical titles are accepted, and in the field of Electroelectronics, the positions are for Technicians in Industrial Automation, Electroelectronics, Electromechanics, Electronics, Electrotechnics, and Mechatronics (17); for the field of Mechanics, the opportunities are intended for Technicians in Automotive Maintenance, Industrial Machinery Maintenance, Naval Machinery Maintenance, Heavy Machinery Maintenance, Mechanics, Precision Mechanics, Mechatronics, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (19).
Stages and Tests
The classification stages consist of a Written Objective Test of Professional Knowledge for each Technical Area (PO); Essay; and Complementary Events (EVC), which are composed of: Verification of Biographical Data (VDB); Health Inspection (IS) – Preliminary and Complementary Phase; Physical Aptitude Test (TAF); Psychological Assessment (AP); Document Verification (VD); Complementary Heteroidentification Procedure to Self-Declaration (PH) and the Adaptation Period (PA).
It is important to note that the Objective Test and Essay are scheduled to take place in the second half of September 2019. Another observation is that the times mentioned in the announcement are based on the official time of Brasília – DF.

Registration
From May 30, 2019 to July 11, 2019, registrations are received at this link. Registrations can also be made at the Navy Military Organizations Responsible for Local Execution (OREL) on weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Only candidates who make the payment of the registration fee, which is R$ 74.00, will have their participation confirmed.
