The Ministry of Education (MEC), through the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), announced that applications for the National Access Exam (ENA) of the Professional Master’s Program in Mathematics in National Network (ProfMat) are open.
The program is aimed at basic education teachers and offers 1,600 slots distributed across 82 educational institutions throughout Brazil. If you are interested in advancing your academic career, this is your chance.

The success of the program is not limited to mathematics, as ProEB also offers master’s courses in other areas such as arts, biology, philosophy, and geography, among others.
In 2025, in addition to the 1,600 slots for the master’s in mathematics, ProEB will open a total of 6,775 slots, including a new feature: 116 slots for the professional doctorate in history, further expanding opportunities for teacher qualification in Brazil.
