MEC has just opened registration for free online and distance learning courses with certificates issued by the platform itself. The focus is on professionals working in the field of education, such as teachers and coordinators, but anyone is free to enroll.

The Ministry of Education (MEC) is open for enrollment in free online courses of 200 hours with the right to certificates of completion. Until then, more than 4750 vacancies are available in the Training for Early Childhood Education Professionals. Despite being aimed at professionals in the education sector, the free distance learning courses accept anyone who is interested, has internet access and is available to study.

Together with its virtual platform (AVAMEC), MEC has just opened new opportunities in free online and distance learning courses with the right to a certificate of completion issued through the teaching platform itself. To be entitled to certificates, candidates must take at least two courses on the platform.

The only requirement proposed by the MEC is that the candidate has a previous degree in any area. Meeting the requirement, just select the Training course for the World of Work (register for free here). In addition to this course, you must choose one of the following courses below to issue the certificate:

The free online and EAD courses with certificates will have classes divided into six modules, namely:

1 Module: study on the socio-emotional evolution of children. Socio-emotional skills in teachers and the relationship with development and learning in preschoolers. Relationship between socio-emotional development and readiness for writing and reading.

2 Module: Discussion on the pillars of education, with emphasis on learning to live together, and also on two essential socio-emotional skills to establish healthy interpersonal relationships.

3 Module: In this module there will be a discussion on the essential aspects of language and communication from 0 to 5 years old, in decision making and moral development. Reflection on childhood fears and characteristics applied to this concept.

4 Module: Theory, classifications and concept of toy, game and play. Playful activities. Games, plays and toys as constitutive elements to acquire knowledge and evolution in preschoolers.

5 Module: Debate on children's protagonism in Early Childhood Education and the essentiality of creating links with figures of care for learning and development. It highlights the family and the school as central contexts for the promotion of comprehensive health in early childhood.

6 Module: Reflection on the change from Early Childhood Education to Elementary Education. Theoretical deepening and the options of ludic activities that are important for the process of growth and evolution of all children who experience this stage.

How to enroll in MEC's ​​free online and distance learning courses?

Those interested in participating in the free online and distance learning courses with certificates must Go to the entity’s website and click on “sign up”. It will be necessary to create a registration on the platform using full name, date of birth, CPF, gender, address, telephone, email, among other information.

It is worth remembering that vacancies in MEC's ​​free online and distance learning courses are limited. Once the application is made, the candidate can start studying and must complete the course in a maximum of 160 days. Those who are approved will have free certificates issued by the platform itself. Vacancies will last until all registrations are complete.
