Activities
- Perform activities in the area of preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance of machines and equipment in general
- Diagnose and make repairs, adjustments, or replacements of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic parts
- Carry out basic cutting and welding activities with oxy-acetylene, electric welding, and general painting
- Develop small hot work tasks such as cutting and deburring with grinders and polishers
- Use specific tools according to the activity’s needs and measuring instruments when necessary
- Interpret drawings and schematics, lubricate machines and equipment
- Fill out requisition, inspection, checklist, service orders, APRM documents, and participate in project development
- Apply safety standards, workplace organization, and environmental practices
- Ensure compliance with the company’s internal rules and procedures
- Drive the workshop truck and other company vehicles if necessary
Requirements
High school diploma, knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, drawing interpretation, and a category D driver’s license.
