Major Company Megajoule Presented Its Consulting Actions to Stimulate the Energy Transition of Its Clients
The event Brazil Windpower 2022 took place in the penultimate week of October and was a true success, featuring major names in the global wind energy sector. Among the exhibitors present, Megajoule had a booth and was represented by the commercial coordinator, Lucas Lobo. Thus, he presented the software and consulting proposals for energy transition.
Megajoule is an independent consulting and engineering company, founded in Portugal in February 2004 by three engineers with solid training and experience that began in the early 90s. However, the company provides consulting services in the field of wind energy and in the assessment of wind resources. Want to know more about the launches? Keep reading.

Wind Software Is the Major Innovation and Key to the Energy Transition Proposed by Megajoule
The Megajoule representative at Brazil Windpower 2022 spoke about the new and exclusive software to assist in mapping complex areas and stimulate sustainability.
-
The largest South American oil company, Petrobras, is preparing for a historic leap in production with new FPSO platforms and the expansion of refining — projects that could add up to 900,000 barrels per day and strengthen Brazil’s energy security.
-
Billions of barrels in the Equatorial Margin could double Amapá’s oil production in Brazil and attract companies from the Campos Basin.

“We have a product called Wind, where we do all the mapping, especially in areas that have some difficulty, meaning areas that have a high complexity in terms of geography”.
Lucas Lobo, Commercial Coordinator of Megajoule (2022)
The software consists of using local modeling for geographical analysis. Through this software, the company can also measure the Wind Index (WI) which aims to quantify the fluctuations in wind energy production against historical averages.
However, it is based on real production results from wind farms, properly corrected to dissipate any effects of operational unavailability. It is also a very useful analysis tool for all players in the wind energy market, allowing them to adequately assess their monthly results against long-term fluctuation standards.
“We operate from the moment of choosing the appropriate areas to start measurements, that is, beginning the development of these projects until the implementation phase.”
Lucas Lobo, Commercial Coordinator of Megajoule (2022)
Thus, Megajoule can prevent potential client losses by optimizing wind energy production. And thus, stimulate the energy transition.
Megajoule Representative Highlights the Positive Impact of Brazil Windpower 2022 for the Company
The major innovation and technology company participated in Brazil Windpower 2022 with over 90% of its staff present. Lucas Lobo also pointed out that this participation in the event resulted from increases in financial and personnel investment that occurred in recent years.
However, he emphasized that recent events are pointing companies in the direction of seeking renewable sources and optimizing sustainability projects. All of this is always based on technology and innovations, like the Wind software. Lucas also emphasizes that the company will always be available to assist clients with the energy transition.
Who Is Megajoule?
Megajoule is a company present in more than 40 countries that offers customized consulting services to optimize services in the wind energy sector. Furthermore, it is a company that stimulates its clients’ energy transition to the use of renewable sources.
As mentioned earlier, it is a company that originated in Portugal in 2004 and has developed with the support of technology and innovations. Currently, the company already provides services in all project phases and has over 50GW in projects worldwide.
