The Building of a Public School in Australia Was Elected the “Best Building in the World” at a Ceremony Held During the World Architecture Festival, Which Took Place in Singapore. The Construction, Belonging to Darlington Public School, Signed by the FJCStudio Office, Stood Out for Its “Sensitive and Inclusive Approach to Child Learning,” Being Recognized for Promoting an Educational Environment That Respects and Values Cultural Diversity. This Is the Second Consecutive Year in Which a Public School Has Received the Prestigious Title of “Best Building in the World,” Highlighting the Importance of School Architecture in Building a More Inclusive Future.

Located in a suburb of Sydney, Darlington Public School Was Built on the Site of an Old School from the 1970s, Which Remained Operational During the Construction. The Best Building in the World Was Planned to Minimize the Impact on Students’ Routine and the Life of the Community, Reflecting the Project’s Commitment to Local Collaboration and Cost-Effectiveness. The School’s Architecture Incorporates a Strong Respect for Indigenous Culture, Expressed Through Elements That Highlight the Connection to the History and Traditions of Aboriginal Peoples.

The Project Includes a Collection of Indigenous Artworks, Which Have Been Preserved and Integrated into the Space, as Well as a Community Garden with Native Plants, Offering a Hands-On and Immersive Lesson on Indigenous Cooking and Culture. This Cultural Integration Stands Out as One of the Pillars of the Project, Reinforcing Darlington Public School as a Learning Place That Celebrates Diversity and Promotes an Inclusive Environment for All Students.
