According to information from Sindipetro Norte Fluminense (NF), Carlos Henrique Bispo dos Santos, 33 years old, worked for CSE – Mechanics and Instrumentation (part of Aker Solutions do Brasil).
He had been onboard since May 9, felt abdominal pains on Monday (05/17), disembarked, was hospitalized in Macaé, but unfortunately did not survive. So far, there are no further details about the cause of death.

Petrobras Reported on 01/31 the Death of an Employee in an Accident That Occurred on the FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba
Information about a fatal accident aboard the FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba (MV24), operated by Modec and chartered by Petrobras, reached the CPG on the night of January 31. We contacted the companies involved in the operation, and so far, Petrobras has been the only one to respond with a clarification note to our press office. Here is the official statement:
Petrobras regrets to inform that, on this Sunday (01/31), an industrial climber from SISTAC died after falling during an inspection in a tank of the FPSO Cidade de Mangaratiba, chartered by MODEC, which operates in the Tupi field, in the Santos Basin. The employee received immediate medical assistance at the site but did not survive. Petrobras is in contact with Sistac and MODEC, who will support the family. The company will monitor the case and, along with MODEC, will create a committee to investigate the occurrence,” concludes Petrobras in an official statement to Click Petróleo e Gás.
