The multinational BYD has just announced the opening of 100 job vacancies in Campinas, SP, for various areas within the company. The Chinese company BYD, manufacturer of electric vehicles, announced this week that it has 100 job openings in Campinas, SP. A large portion of the opportunities is in the production line area.

Interested candidates for the job vacancies must register their resumes on the website of BYD through the Jobs system, available at this link. In addition to the production line, there are openings in the areas of purchasing, finance, legal, research and development, after-sales, HR, and passenger vehicle division, which may include mechanical engineers, assistants, and also sales supervisors.

Among the benefits offered by the Chinese multinational BYD are charter buses, meal vouchers, and a complete cafeteria at its headquarters in Campinas, SP. About the Company

After 26 years since its inception in China, BYD has taken another step to consolidate globally and will start marketing imported cars in Brazil from next year. However, the brand’s journey in our country is older, beginning in 2015 with the inauguration of its first assembly factory for 100% electric buses in Campinas (SP).

The unit is responsible for assembling standard (13m) high-floor buses (D9A), low-floor (D9W), rental buses (D9F), and articulated buses (22m), both high and low floor (D11A and D11B), which receive bodies made by local partners. BYD electric buses have a range of 250 to 300 kilometers, allowing them to run all day and return to the garage at night, where they are recharged.

A full charge (0% to 100%) takes three to four hours. The vehicles are safe, quiet, and can reduce operational costs by up to 70%. Additionally, each 100% electric BYD bus prevents, on average, the emission of 121 tons of CO2 per year, equivalent to planting 864 trees per vehicle.
