New Technology for Companies: Brazilian Unit of the German Multinational, Böllhoff Brasil, has started producing high-strength press nuts to primarily meet the demands of the automotive, agricultural, and energy sectors.
A Böllhoff, a German multinational specializing in fastening technology and assembly systems, announced the production in Brazil of a new line of high-strength press nuts called KAPTI NUT®. The new technology allows for the fastening of pre-drilled thin metal sheets, resulting in the creation of a threaded fastening element for the application of a third component – particularly used in the automotive, agricultural, and energy sectors.
The fastening system is specially designed to fit the multiple drilling of strips and thin metal sheets and can be applied to materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Investments in New Technology Are Expected to Benefit the Local Export Market, Says the Multinational

“The investment in a new production line in Brazil aims to benefit the local and export market, with faster service, competitive prices, and the offer of a product manufactured with the global quality standard of the Böllhoff Group”, emphasizes Flávio Silva, CEO of Böllhoff Brasil. “These are high-strength press nuts, which can be applied through a mechanical process or also through automation possibilities that add more practicality and increase our customers’ productivity”.
