SUPERIOR ENERGY SERVICES is looking for Technical and Higher Level Engineering professionals to join its team in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro

SUPERIOR ENERGY SERVICES, a leader in specialized services and equipment in the oil and gas sector, announced through its official information channel on April 3rd the openings for the positions of Equipment Operator and Completion Coordinator. Completion Equipment Operator

Main Responsibilities: Pre-planning of operation procedures with completion tools; Assemble and install completion equipment and systems in oil and gas wells for offshore or onshore clients; Monitor and install Single and Multi Zone gravel pack completions; Monitor and install Open Hole gravel Pack systems; Monitor and install Frac Pack systems; Monitor and install stand-alone completion systems in offshore deepwater and offshore wells; Monitor and install well safety systems and upper completion in offshore and onshore wells; Record and document all completion operations.

Requirements

Technical degree in Oil and Gas, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Safety, Industrial Technicians, or related areas, with registration in the STF
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Completion area.
Advanced English preferred
Knowledge and skills in computer/Office Suite
Knowledge and practice in Mechanics and layout of the offshore rig; Principles of Well Tools.
Knowledge and practice: Frac Pack and HRWP gravel Pack; Techniques and formulas for sand control.
Stand Alone completions
Knowledge related to completion operation procedures.
Knowledge and practice of ethical methods for effective operation of completion equipment installation.
Reside in Macaé or nearby.

Completion Coordinator

Main Responsibilities: Responsible for providing support to the onboard completion operator, managing Embarkation, Disembarkation, and Transfer of Personnel Equipment, controlling operational staff’s time off/vacation, and maintaining and controlling the work schedule flow in order to comply with the company’s time off and vacation system; Detailed review of well programs to confirm familiarity and advise the project team on any shortcomings, in preparation for offshore operations; Ensure that operational procedures are followed by the team under their command; Responsible for filling out operation reports for evaluation and signature by the client.

Requirements

Preferred Higher Education in Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related areas
Registration in Crea
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Completion area
Experience with Torq and Drag Simulation Software
Organization, Results-oriented, Interpersonal Relations, Leadership, and Analytical Skills.
Fluent English
Reside in Macaé
