Reivax, A Brazilian Multinational, Launched Its First Line Of Exclusive Solutions Targeting The Photovoltaic Solar Energy Industry
Reivax, a Brazilian multinational and a reference in systems for controlling electricity generation, launched its first line of exclusive solutions for the photovoltaic solar energy segment. This innovation was presented by Reivax to the market during an online event celebrating the company’s 34th anniversary, which is celebrated on April 1st.

This investment strengthens the strategic decision of the Reivax Multinational to follow the rapid global growth of the renewable energy generation sector. Currently, the company has supply proposals totaling about 5,000 megawatts.
The company is present in over 40 countries and is set to benefit Brazil with this investment in solar energy. In Brazil, solar photovoltaic plants with generation capacity above 5 MW require this type of controller to manage the energy delivered at the connection point with the National Interconnected System (SIN).

Words from The CEO of The Multinational
According to the CEO of Reivax Multinational, Fernando Amorim da Silveira, the company provides a complete and integrated solution for monitoring and control that includes the equipment Power Plant Controller (PPC), referred to as PPCx by the company, and the SCADA Software, to lead applications in the segment.
The control of energy generation in photovoltaic solar plants involves a joint control of energy from various inverters, in which the company has extensive experience and numerous projects completed, the CEO states.
It is very important for the photovoltaic solar plant to operate according to the conditions established by the National Electric System Operator (ONS), and it is also crucial for meeting PPA contracts when the project supplies its energy to the free energy market. With the launch of this Reivax product, the company will certainly contribute significantly to the development of photovoltaic solar plants, he states.
The Solar Energy Market Promises A Turnaround By 2050
By 2050, solar energy is projected to produce a third of the electricity, as outlined in DNV’s Energy Transition Outlook for 2020. This remarkable growth will be partly due to the ongoing decline in PV technology costs and favorable levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) rates.
Still, solar energy investors and operators face revenue challenges in the future, as markets assign less value to energy produced by this variable renewable source, and substantial increases in solar generation lead to price cannibalization. These trends will accelerate in the next decade.
“The digitization of photovoltaic assets and processes will not only reduce costs but also increase the overall value of solar generation in the market,” said the report’s author Dana Olson, Global Leader of DNV’s Solar Segment. “It will provide the necessary insights and integration that solar projects will need to operate profitably in an increasingly competitive environment.”
About The Company
Reivax Multinational began providing equipment and control and automation services for synchronous machines in April 1987. It was founded with the mission of delivering greater value to customers through innovation. Thus, through this philosophy, it released the first stabilizer of the energy system based on acceleration power and ramp tracking filter.
Currently, Reivax Multinational operates in the technology for energy generation sector. As a global company, it has headquarters in Florianópolis (Brazil), Montreal (Canada), and Baden (Switzerland), and is present in over 40 countries worldwide, commanding more than 145 GW of power.
