The construction of the Senna Tower, at over 500 meters tall, marks a new level in the Brazilian and global real estate sector.
The project is ambitious and is already generating expectations for the future of Balneário Camboriú, which is already known for having the tallest buildings in Brazil, such as the Yachthouse Residence Club and One Tower.
The forecast is that the project will start in the second half of 2025, with an estimated completion time of up to 10 years.
A Masterpiece in Honor of Ayrton Senna
The name Senna Tower was not chosen by chance. The construction partners with the Senna Brand, created to honor the legacy of the three-time Formula 1 world champion.
Bianca Senna, president of the company that manages Ayrton Senna’s brands, stated in an interview with Folha de S. Paulo that the building symbolizes “the spirit of Ayrton materialized in an architectural masterpiece.”
The tower will feature areas dedicated to honoring the driver, including an immersive space with exhibitions about his journey, attracting admirers of the sports icon from all over the world.
In addition to being an architectural landmark, the building will also be a symbol of luxury and exclusivity. It will house 228 residential units, including 18 suspended mansions of up to 563 m² and four duplex penthouses of 600 m². For those seeking the top of the world, the two triplex penthouses will have impressive 903 m².
Economic Impact and Job Creation
The grandeur of the project does not stop at architecture. According to FG Empreendimentos, the construction of the Senna Tower will bring significant economic impact to the region.
It is estimated that over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs will be created over the 10 years of construction, involving everything from construction workers to sectors such as services, logistics, and tourism.
The expectation is that the Senna Tower will attract investments from both national and international buyers, due to the prestige of the Senna Brand and the global prominence the building is gaining.
Furthermore, with over 6,000 m² of leisure areas, including six floors of private leisure and an exclusive rooftop, the tower promises to offer an unparalleled luxury experience.
Licenses and Project Approval
FG Empreendimentos, which has already signed 8 of the 10 tallest buildings in Brazil, confirmed that the project has all the permits needed to begin.
The EIV (Neighborhood Impact Study) and the LAI (Environmental Implementation License) have already been approved, along with the approval from the municipality of Balneário Camboriú.
The next step will be the official launch, which is scheduled for the last quarter of 2024, when final details such as the exact number of floors will be announced.
The project, which is already one of the most talked-about in the global real estate sector, will also include leisure areas open to the public, highlighting high-end gastronomy and entertainment spaces.
The rooftop, in turn, will be reserved exclusively for residents, ensuring privacy and exclusivity.
Partnership with Luciano Hang and Future Investments
The construction of the Senna Tower will be financed in partnership with the Hang Family, owners of the retailer Havan, who will invest alongside FG Empreendimentos.
FG, which has already delivered 63 mega projects and holds the largest land bank in the region, envisions a VGV (General Sales Value) of 100 billion reais in future projects, demonstrating the ongoing impact the company will have on the local and national economy.
With 15 mega projects underway and a target of 2.1 billion reais in VGV for 2024, FG shows no signs of slowing down. The construction of the Senna Tower is just the beginning of a new era for construction in Brazil.
The arrival of this venture undoubtedly positions Brazil at a prominent level on the global stage. Balneário Camboriú, already known as the “Brazilian Dubai,” will elevate its status to another level with the construction of the largest residential building in the world.
