The electric mining truck does not have any kind of place that a person can access, that is, it is completely autonomous and moved “by itself”
The success of drones, which can be used in any type of service, even in military operations, is already notorious, especially on account of not needing of humans inside. With that in mind, the Chinese automaker Chongqing Electromechanical Group launched the first electric drone mining truck, according to the Blog do Caminhoneiro website.
According to details, the electric mining truck does not have any type of cabin or compartment intended for transporting people and is 100% electric. Called Dianniu Ebull, the autonomous truck has batteries that can be recharged in the vehicle itself or replaced, reducing downtime to refuel the truck.
The electric mining truck has very particular characteristics. The batteries are located behind the engine and, if the truck needs to change batteries, it would be necessary to use a crane. the chassis and cargo box are present only in operated trucks by humans.

100% independent electric mining truck
At the front of the electric mining truck, there are several systems developed by the automaker that allow the vehicle to operate 100% autonomously. According to the company, the critical and safety systems operate in a dual way, that is, for each existing system, another equal one is in operation. So, if one stops working, the other takes over until it receives the necessary maintenance.
According to the Chinese press, this is the first electric mining truck in the country that does not have the cabin and the driver's compartment and that works in a way smart, electronically.
The automaker guarantees that the electric mining truck operates safely and that, with its intelligent and autonomous system, the use of the mining truck can significantly reduce the emissions of polluting gases into the atmosphere, since the truck is 100% electric.
More about electric mining trucks: 45 ton electric mining truck is considered the world's largest in size and performance
Developed in Switzerland, a 45-ton electric truck is being considered the largest in operation in the world. And this title is not only in terms of weight and size, the performance of the electric mining truck is jaw-dropping, with an engine containing a set of 600 kWh batteries that do not require charging.
With the name of eDumper, it was built by the Swiss company Kuhn Schweiz, specialized in supplying machinery for the mining sector. Based on a conventional model from Japan's Komatsu, the company installed an electric motor with a set of batteries.
The electric truck is capable of supporting a load of up to 65 tons of mining. Therefore, it has a set of powerful brakes, which generate electricity to power the engine batteries. The whole system can generate an energy surplus of 200 kWh. READ MORE CLICKING HERE.
