New JBS Factory in Rio Grande do Sul May Start Operating This Year
With this new investment, the municipality of Seberi, in Rio Grande do Sul, strengthens its position in the region by generating jobs and income for the population, according to the manager. He states that he met with the company’s directors last week to discuss the forecast for starting operations later this year. The mayor also commented on the drought.
The municipality, like others in the Production Zone region, declared a state of emergency due to water scarcity caused by the lack of rainfall. Adilson emphasizes that the losses generated in agriculture due to this factor, especially in corn, are enormous, already exceeding R$ 80 million. The mayor of the municipality notes that he hopes his request will be approved so that new lines of credit can be released to support producers in Rio Grande do Sul.
