City Hall of Uberaba Secured Various Benefits for the Company
In negotiations with Crown Embalagens, in addition to the land of 200,000 square meters, the municipality will also ensure a series of advantages. For example: Exemption from ISS (Tax on Services of Any Nature-ISSQN) during the execution of the factory project and delivery of infrastructure. However, these guarantees come from the previous government.
On the other hand, the factory is expected to generate 100 direct jobs for local labor when inaugurated. With this, the projects and competitors of Crown Embalagens will increase the demand for aluminum. Therefore, they will reach the bauxite mine. Thus, this will be good news for primary aluminum production.
