On Tuesday, (07/30), Vale Mattress and Upholstered Furniture Industry took an important step in its expansion by launching the groundbreaking for a new factory in the Industrial Center of Patos, located in Ipecaetá, Metropolitan Region of Feira de Santana. The event marked the beginning of the construction of a factory that represents a significant investment, estimated at R$ 120 million, which could generate more than 200 job openings.

The new factory of Vale Mattresses will occupy a total area of 22 thousand square meters, of which 15 thousand meters will be covered.
This space was generously donated by the Municipal City Hall of Ipecaetá, with the unanimous approval of the City Council.

In addition to creating job openings, the factory will contribute to strengthening the local economy,” Almeida stated.
Fernando Pessoa, CEO of Vale Mattresses, also highlighted the importance of the project for the company and the region.
“This is a dream we are realizing. Our intention is to make the local economy thrive, offer decent work to the population, and reduce the need for residents to leave Ipecaetá to find employment. This will be our second largest operation in Brazil and we have high expectations for the future growth of the project,” Pessoa said.
