Apps Like Uber and 99 Launched a New Feature That Can Make Your Rides Cheaper.

Imagine being able to cross the city for almost nothing? It sounds like an exaggeration, but Uber and 99 are making it possible with a new feature that promises to revolutionize your trips.

The use of transportation apps has become popular in Brazil, and the proof of this is the updates that companies like 99 and Uber have been making. One of them could make the ride cheaper.

Cheaper Rides Through Transport Apps Uber and 99

With this feature, drivers and passengers can negotiate the fare directly. This means they are not just reliant on the amount set by the app itself. The final amount charged is always that agreed upon by the driver and passenger.

And, a detail, with this feature, the passenger cannot change the destination, start point, or add stops after the agreement is confirmed.

How to Negotiate the Fare Directly With the Driver?

The systems are called “Uber Your Price” or “99 Negotiates”. To use them, it is necessary to have the app downloaded (Uber or 99) and on the updated version. When opening the app, just click on “Your Price” and type in the amount you want to pay. The driver has the option to accept the proposal or make a counterproposal.

Now, an important detail for drivers: these rides are not counted towards missions or promotions; on the other hand, they do not affect the acceptance rate.

According to Uber, this feature has already been operating in some Latin American countries and arrived in Brazil some time ago.

How Much Does an Uber and 99 Driver Earn on Average Per Month?

The average earnings of an Uber or 99 driver in Brazil can vary significantly depending on various factors, such as the city where they operate, the number of hours worked, fuel costs, vehicle maintenance, among others.

On average, a full-time driver can earn between R$ 3,000 and R$ 5,000 per month. However, these amounts are approximated and can be higher or lower depending on the individual conditions of each driver.

It is important to consider that these earnings do not represent net profit, as expenses such as fuel, car maintenance, taxes, and fees charged by the platforms must also be deducted.

Factors such as demand for rides, peak hours, promotions offered by the platforms, and geographic location directly influence earnings.

So, will you take advantage of this new feature to save on your trips?
