The Honda Super Cub C125 2024 was officially launched in the Japanese market. Inspired by the classic Super Cub in a 125 version, the new Honda motorcycle remains unchanged in its mechanical base, but it has gained new color combinations. The Honda 125 motorcycle retains the nostalgic style that is popular worldwide.
The price of the Super Cub 125 2024 is 451,000 yen, which is equivalent to R$ 15.2 thousand. There is no expectation regarding the arrival of the Honda 125 motorcycle in Brazil. In a way, this motorcycle is a sibling to the brand’s national CUBs, which are Pop 110i, Biz 110i, and Biz 125i. For this season, the model received new colors Pearl Bosphorus Blue (blue with blue seat) and Pearl Nebula Red (red), while maintaining Matte Axis Grey Metallic (gray). Being a model inspired by the legendary Super Cub C100, the new Honda motorcycle features cast aluminum wheels, LED lights, and a Smart Key presence key.
With ABS brakes on the front wheel, the Honda 125 motorcycle has a disc in the front and a drum in the back. Its wheels are 17 inches, while the front suspension is telescopic, and the rear has dual shock absorbers with a swing arm.

Weighing only 110 kg, the new Honda motorcycle is equipped with a 123 cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 9.8 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 1 kgf·m at 6,250 rpm, operating with a 4-speed transmission. The average fuel consumption is 68.8 km/l, but it can reach 70 km/l when riding at a steady speed of 60 km/h with two occupants. With this high fuel efficiency, the tank capacity is only 3.7 liters.
Yamaha Also Launches New 125 Economical Motorcycle
In addition to this Honda 125 motorcycle, Yamaha recently announced its Jog 125 2024 in the Japanese market. For this new season, the model retains the same base but has gained new color options. The model brings back the nostalgia of the famous name that was once present here with the friendly Jog 50 in past decades.
This is a 50 cc 2-stroke from the 90s, but currently, the motorcycle offers a more modern package.
The price of the JOG 125 is 264,000 yen, approximately R$ 8.6 thousand in direct conversion. There is no expectation regarding the arrival of the model here, as the brand already offers an interesting line of scooters with models Neo 125, NMax, Fluo, and XMax.
Honda Brings New Economical Motorcycles to the Brazilian Market
In addition to the Honda 125 motorcycle, the Japanese brand recently presented the CBR400R, which, like the NX400, focuses on Japan, being lower-capacity versions relative to the 500 family. With a design reminiscent of the company’s larger-displacement sports bikes, the new Honda motorcycle also stands out for its interesting fuel consumption.
The price of the new Honda motorcycle is 863,500 yen, which in direct conversion is about R$ 28 thousand, not including taxes. The 500 line of Honda ends up being 400 in Japan due to local regulations and market needs, thus it should remain focused on Asia.
The average fuel consumption disclosed by the Japanese automaker for the motorcycle is 28.1 km/l according to the WMTC index, but the model can be even more economical. When riding at an average speed of 60 km/h, the motorcycle can achieve up to 41 km/l, according to manufacturer’s data.
