Motor Company Launched Its New Electric Motorcycle Model That Promises to Deliver 420 km on a Single Charge
Energica Motor Company announced on Thursday (02) some details about its newest electric motorcycle model, known as Energica Experia, which will be the company’s first adventure model. One of the main innovations of the Motor Company’s electric model is its construction based on a new platform, including the installation of a different electric motor. The vehicle also features a new, lighter, and more efficient battery technology that promises to provide over 400 km of range.
Electric Motorcycle Charges from 0 to 80% in Just 40 Minutes
Several essential changes have been made to the Motor Company’s electric motorcycle technologies to enable the model to outperform in terms of range and power. The Energica Experia utilizes a lithium polymer battery which, according to the manufacturer, provides greater energy density.
The component’s maximum capacity is 22.5 kWh total, with 19.6 kWh usable. To put it into perspective, the new Volvo XC90 and XC80 hybrid models use 18.8 kWh batteries. The charging time for the Motor Company’s electric motorcycle goes from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes when using a fast DC charger, but the Energica Experia is also compatible with somewhat slower chargers.
