Nissan is finally making moves and bringing a lot of news to Brazil. New Nissan SUV Delivers Up To 204 Horsepower
Talking about the engine, Nissan’s new car offers two options for the North American market. One is a 2.5 naturally aspirated engine, and the other is a 2.5 hybrid; however, neither will be coming here to Brazil. After all, the engine that will equip the new Nissan X-Trail here is the newly launched E-Power from Japan, which will also arrive in the Mexican model.
The setup consists of a 1.5 Turbo engine with direct gasoline fuel injection, combined with an additional electric motor. All together, we have about 204 horsepower, and the combined torque is 33.6 kgfm.
In the E-Power system, the internal combustion engine essentially works as a power generator for the electric motor and its batteries. Thus, Nissan’s SUV runs almost entirely on an electric setup. Although the power figures released by Nissan are modest, the car must certainly have well over 260 horsepower, as its performance is impressive.
What Does The New Nissan X-Trail Deliver In Equipment?
Inside, the sophisticated new Nissan car comes with an impressive finish featuring soft-touch materials on the doors and dashboard, along with leather appliqués all around. The interior space is excellent, accommodating five adults and two children in the third row of seats.
Speaking a bit about equipment, Nissan’s new SUV is complete and features a premium sound system from Bose, keyless entry, an electric trunk with proximity sensor for opening and closing, a joystick-style gear lever, electronic parking brake, start-stop, Auto Hold, wireless charging for cell phones, traction selector in the console, panoramic sunroof, front seats with electric adjustments, heating, and memory for the driver’s seat, and much more.
