Bragança Winner Mall Will Be Installed in the Northern Zone of the City and Is Expected to Transform the Local Economy by Generating Hundreds of Jobs and Revitalizing the Old Municipal Market.

The city of Bragança Paulista, located in the Bragantina region of São Paulo state, is preparing for the inauguration of a new shopping mall that promises to boost the local economy and generate jobs. Scheduled to open by the end of the first half of 2025, the Bragança Winner Mall Shopping By Amílcar Donato Barletta is being built in the Northern Zone of the municipality in the revitalized building of the old Municipal Market.

Project Aims to Reinvent Retail and Leisure in the Region

The development, which follows the strip mall model, was designed to provide easy access and convenience for residents and visitors. The new shopping center will feature 3,000 m² of Gross Leasable Area (GLA) and will house 46 commercial operations, including stores, services, leisure spaces, and events.

The proposal also includes holding themed fairs, cultural events, and family-oriented attractions, as well as a section dedicated to agribusiness, where local producers can sell their products directly to the public.

Partnership with the City Hall and Appreciation of Historical Heritage

The Bragança Winner Mall Shopping is being developed through a public-private partnership with the Bragança Paulista City Hall.

The building where the new commercial center will operate underwent a retrofit process, a technique that modernizes old constructions without altering their original structures. The old Municipal Market Amílcar Donato Barletta was completely renovated to accommodate the venture, maintaining its historical and symbolic importance for the city.

Up to 600 Direct and Indirect Jobs Will Be Created

The opening of the new shopping center has one of its main impacts as the generation of job opportunities. It is estimated that the Bragança Winner Mall Shopping will create up to 600 direct and indirect jobs, contributing to the local economic development. The opportunities are expected to range from sales and customer service to areas such as security, maintenance, administration, and food services.

During the commercial launch event held on April 3, local authorities, entrepreneurs, and investors had the opportunity to learn about the project in detail. The initiative marked the beginning of the phase for prospecting commercial partners and occupying the available spaces.

São Paulo Leads Shopping Mall Expansion in Brazil

According to data from the Brazilian Association of Shopping Centers (Abrasce 2024), Brazil is expected to open around 30 new shopping malls in the next five years. The state of São Paulo, in turn, continues to be the main hub for sector expansion, with various developments planned for cities in the interior and Greater São Paulo.

The Bragança Winner Mall Shopping fits into this movement of growth in physical retail, adapted to new consumer demands for convenience, experience, and integration with the local community.

The Goal Is to Strengthen Regional Commerce

For Guilherme Siriani, managing partner of Winner Mall, the project represents an important step in consolidating Bragança Paulista as a regional hub for commerce and leisure. “We want to present the project as a whole, starting a new phase for local commerce,” he stated during the mall’s launch.

The expectation is that the new space will stimulate internal consumption, attract visitors from neighboring cities, and promote the strengthening of regional businesses, also focusing on partnerships with local entrepreneurs.

Opening Is Scheduled for the End of the First Half

With construction already in advanced phases, Winner Mall expects the new shopping center to be fully operational by the end of the first half of 2025.

Until then, the process of occupying the stores and structuring the services should be completed, with the start of hiring to fill the hundreds of job vacancies generated by the enterprise.
