With Design Inspired by the Dacia Bigster, Mild Hybrid Engine, and National Production, the New Renault SUV Promises to Revolutionize the Mid-Segment with Prices Starting at R$ 200,000 and Technology to Compete Head-On with Market Leaders.

Renault is ready for a major leap in the Brazilian SUV market with the launch of its new Renault SUV, which promises to intensify the competition against heavyweights like the Jeep Compass and Toyota Corolla Cross. Betting on a mid-size, sophisticated, and electrified model, the brand aims to win over demanding consumers and reposition its image in the country.

The new model arrives to show that Renault is not playing around. After all, who said SUVs have to be just robust? This model promises to combine technology, performance, and style, placing the brand in a superior position in the market.

An Unprecedented Mid-Size SUV from Renault to Change the Game

The new Renault SUV will have the same dashboard as the Dacia Bigster, but with adaptations. It will feature new logos, more sophisticated materials, and exclusive colors, as well as a modern multimedia center and a digital panel with over 10 inches.
The new Renault SUV will have the same dashboard as the Dacia Bigster, but with adaptations. It will feature new logos, more sophisticated materials, and exclusive colors, as well as a modern multimedia center and a digital panel with over 10 inches.

The new Renault SUV is a reflection of an audacious strategy: to move away from the popular car segment and invest in more sophisticated models. Based on Project 1312, the SUV will be produced in Brazil and will draw inspiration from European models and concepts, such as the Dacia Bigster and the Symbioz.

Visually, the car will be a conventional SUV, with striking and modern lines. The idea is to offer a design that appeals to both fans of robust utilities and those seeking elegance. This is done without losing the essence of Renault, which is now reinventing itself to compete in a more crowded segment.

Style and Technology on Par with Rivals

If there’s one thing the new Renault SUV will not disappoint in, it’s style. Inspired by European concepts, the model features an impactful front end with headlights reminiscent of the Symbioz and details that recall the Kardian. For those who appreciate touches of exclusivity, there will be a wide range of colors, including a special shade of blue.

In terms of technology, the SUV promises to be complete. All versions will feature advanced equipment, such as ADAS assistances, including adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. Can you imagine having comfort and safety on every kilometer?

The Interior: Sophistication and Connectivity

Inside, the SUV shows that Renault is focused on the premium audience. The dashboard will be digital, with a screen of over 10 inches, while the multimedia center will boast cutting-edge technology. And for those who enjoy a special touch, details in blue suede will be part of the interior design.

The elevated central console and the joystick-style gear selector are details that signal modernity. Everything is designed to make the driving experience even more enjoyable.

Engine and Performance: Hybrid Efficiency

The new Renault SUV will be equipped with a 1.3 turbo flex engine, which already delivers 170 hp, but will now be accompanied by a mild hybrid system. With 48-volt technology, the model will be more efficient and sustainable. In the coming years, the brand plans to launch plug-in hybrid versions and even with 4×4 traction.

This electrification is not just a global trend but a way for Renault to stand out in a market that demands constant innovation. Who doesn’t want an SUV that combines power and economy?

Price, Launch Date, and Expectations

The national production of the model will begin in São José dos Pinhais (PR), with a launch expected in the second half of 2025. The starting price is expected to be around R$ 200,000, positioning the SUV as a competitive option against its rivals.

With this bet, Renault begins a new phase, aimed at capturing more demanding consumers and demonstrating that the brand has everything to shine in the premium segment.
