Initially, the forecast is that the Tiggo 9 will be equipped with a 2.0 turbo gasoline engine, capable of developing 260 horsepower and 40.2 kgfm of torque, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission. A second plug-in hybrid engine option would be introduced, combining a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine with two electric motors, resulting in a combined power output of 310 horsepower.
