Prices and Versions of the Tiggo 5X 2027 at Launch
Caoa Chery is betting on aggressive pricing at the start of sales of the Tiggo 5X 2027. During the promotional period, prices are lower than what will be practiced after the adjustment announced by the brand.
The entry-level Sport version costs R$ 119.990, a lower price than the R$ 129.990 charged previously. The Tiggo 5X 2027 Pro Max Drive is priced at R$ 134.990, replacing the previous Pro version, which was R$ 144.990.
According to the manufacturer, after the end of the campaign, the SUV is expected to see a price increase, with the basic configuration approaching R$ 124.990, reinforcing the importance of the initial phase for those looking to purchase the model.
Renewed Design Brings the SUV Closer to More Expensive Models
In its appearance, the Tiggo 5X 2027 adopts the brand’s new global identity, drawing nearer to larger and more sophisticated SUVs, like the Tiggo 8.
The front has been completely redesigned, with a larger front grille integrated into the hood, alongside narrower headlights and vertically positioned LED daytime running lights.
At the rear, the taillights are now connected by a light strip, creating a more modern look aligned with segment trends.
On the sides, the highlight is the floating roof effect, achieved by integrating the C-pillar with the rear window.
The wheels vary according to the version of the Tiggo 5X 2027. The Sport model uses 17-inch wheels, while the Pro Max Drive features 18-inch wheels. Color options include white, black, and silver.
More Technological Interior with Enhanced Finishing
Upon entering the Tiggo 5X 2027, the feeling is one of clear evolution compared to the previous model. The dashboard has gained more horizontal lines, new air vents, and materials with better perceived quality.

The floating multimedia center of 10.25 inches now offers wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The instrument cluster is also fully digital, with a 10.25-inch screen integrated into the multimedia system. Additionally, the SUV received new interior trims, reinforcing the proposal for greater sophistication.
Another important highlight is the fixed panoramic sunroof with an electric curtain, available on the top version, a change made following direct requests from consumers, according to the manufacturer.
New Tiggo 5X 2027: Larger Dimensions and Preserved Space
Even being a re-styling, the Tiggo 5X 2027 has grown in length. The SUV has increased from 4.31 meters to 4.34 meters, an increase related to the new bumpers.
The other measurements remain unchanged, with a wheelbase of 2.61 meters, a width of 1.83 meters, and a height of 1.65 meters.
The trunk maintains a capacity of 340 liters, which can reach 820 liters with the rear seats folded down, ensuring versatility for urban use and travel.

Updated Engine and Focus on Efficiency
In terms of mechanics, the Tiggo 5X 2027 remains equipped with the 1.5 TCI turbo gasoline engine, now with adjustments that have increased the torque to up to 22.8 kgfm.
The power remains at 150 horsepower, working in conjunction with a CVT that simulates nine gears and front-wheel drive.
The model no longer offers the mild hybrid system (MHEV). In its place, Caoa Chery is preparing the arrival of a full hybrid version (HEV), expected in the third quarter of 2026.
Tiggo 5X 2027 Hybrid: What to Expect
The future hybrid version of the Tiggo 5X 2027 is expected to use a mechanical set similar to that applied in the Omoda 5 HEV. The system combines a 1.5 TGDI gasoline engine, with direct injection and Miller cycle, with an electric motor.
Together, they deliver 224 horsepower and a combined torque of 30.1 kgfm. The transmission will be of the DHT type, developed specifically for hybrid vehicles, prioritizing efficiency and smoothness.
Equipment of the New Tiggo 5X 2027 Reinforces Cost-Benefit
The Tiggo 5X 2027 Sport already leaves the factory well-equipped, with six airbags, electrically adjustable seats, complete multimedia, rearview camera, parking sensors, full LED headlights, and driving assistance systems.
In the Pro Max Drive version, the Tiggo 5X 2027 adds an advanced package of safety and comfort, including adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, 360° cameras, two-zone digital air conditioning, wireless charging, and premium interior finishing.
With these updates, the Tiggo 5X 2027 reinforces its position as one of the most complete and competitive options among compact SUVs sold in Brazil.
