The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Dapper 2024 has established itself as a sales success in Brazil, combining the brand’s retro style with a more agile and urban proposal, but with performance that divides opinions.
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Dapper 2024 is one of the most important launches from the Anglo-Indian brand in Brazil. With the mission of being the gateway to the Royal Enfield universe, the “Hunter” arrived in the country with a retro look, a torque-focused engine, and a competitive price, quickly becoming a sales success.
According to a comprehensive review of the model, the motorcycle stands out for its style and fuel economy. However, the analysis also reveals the strengths and weaknesses that a potential buyer needs to know before taking this modern classic home.
The Arrival in Brazil: The Launch of the Hunter 350 in 2023
Royal Enfield, an English brand founded in 1901 and now manufactured in India, is the oldest in the world in continuous production. The Hunter 350 was globally launched in 2022 and officially arrived in Brazil the following year, already as a 2023 model.

It was positioned as the entry-level model of the brand’s renowned 350cc platform, which also includes the Meteor and the Classic. The Hunter stands out for being lighter, more agile, and the first to use 17-inch alloy wheels, a new feature for Royal Enfield.
The Dapper and Rebel Versions: What Differentiates Each One?

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Dapper 2024 is offered in two versions in Brazil:
Dapper: is the entry-level version, available in solid colors like “Grey,” “Ash,” and “White.”
Rebel: is the top-of-the-line version, which differentiates itself with two-tone paint (red and black, blue and white, or black and white) and comes standard with the Tripper Navigation system, which indicates GPS directions on the display.
The 350cc Engine and 20 Horsepower
The engine of the Hunter 350 is the well-known single-cylinder from the J Platform, with 349cc, air cooling, and electronic injection. It delivers 20.2 horsepower and a torque of 2.75 kgf.m.
The focus of this engine, according to the test, is not top speed but rather torque at low and medium RPM, which makes it an agile and fun motorcycle to ride in the city. The transmission is five-speed.
Fuel Consumption and Limited Top Speed
The Hunter 350 is an extremely economical motorcycle. Fuel consumption, according to the evaluation, is one of its biggest assets:
- Aggressive Riding: The consumption ranges between 28 and 30 km/l.
- Normal Riding: At a more relaxed pace, the motorcycle can exceed 35 km/l, reaching up to 38 km/l.
The most debated point is its top speed. The motorcycle’s display limits speed to 125 km/h. For a 350cc, this is a low speed, but it reinforces the motorcycle’s proposal of being an urban model focused on torque and not on road performance.
The Equipment Package and Points of Attention
The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Dapper 2024 comes well equipped from the factory. It features disc brakes and ABS on both wheels, LED lighting, a center stand, and a useful USB port for charging a phone.
However, the test pointed out some negative aspects. The main ones are the characteristic vibration of the single-cylinder engine, the rear suspension that is a bit stiff, and the display, which, although attractive, lacks a tachometer (RPM) and a trip computer.
How Much Does the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Cost?
The price is one of the great attractions of the Hunter. The suggested prices for the brand new models are:
- Dapper Version: R$ 19,990 (excluding shipping).
- Rebel Version: R$ 20,990 (excluding shipping).
At dealerships, according to the test, the final price for a Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Dapper 2024 is around R$ 23,500. In the used market, the FIPE Table for a second-hand model is R$ 20,240.
