There Are 11 Internship Vacancies Available in RJ for the Summer Internship and 19 in the States of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Pará and Alagoas for Ongoing Works and Projects by Odebrecht Engineering and Construction
Applications are open for the Summer Internship at OEC – Odebrecht Engineering & Construction. There are 11 vacancies for Rio de Janeiro aimed at students of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Administration who are in their fifth semester or later.
Interested candidates can apply until November 13 through the website www.oec-eng.com, and the selected candidates will start supervised activities in January, with an expected end in February. In addition to the stipend, interns will be entitled to meals, transportation, life insurance, and in certain projects, accommodation will be provided.
In Rio de Janeiro, OEC is carrying out works such as Prosub (Submarine Development Program) in Itaguaí, where five submarines are being built to modernize the Brazilian Navy fleet; the BRT Transbrasil, considered one of the longest in the world; and the Santa Cruz Thermal Power Plant, which is being converted into a combined cycle to operate on both diesel oil and gas.
“We will have five vacancies for Prosub and six for BRT Transbrasil. Interns will be supported by OEC members and will work in the areas of engineering and administration,” explains Ana Clara Ribeiro, responsible for managing the internship program at the construction company.

The opportunities are not only for Rio de Janeiro: another 19 vacancies are being offered for ongoing works in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Pará, and Alagoas. These vacancies can be checked here.
In Minas Gerais, OEC is constructing health units for the Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte under a PPP model. In Pará, it is executing the requalification works of 10.8 kilometers of BR-316, the main entryway to the capital, Belém. In Alagoas, it is responsible for section 4 of the Sertão Canal, a project that is already nearly 90% completed. In São Paulo, the vacancies are for the Shared Services Center (CSC), an administrative area located in the company’s headquarters building on Marginal Pinheiros.
The Summer Internship program at OEC has been around since 2011 and has given opportunities to over 1,100 students in various Brazilian states during this period. The initiative contributes to the training of university students during their vacation period, allowing them to gain practical insight into what is taught in the classroom. “We are very pleased to welcome students from all over Brazil to learn a bit from the experience of our professionals during their internship. It is important for us to contribute to the education of these young individuals,” they assess.
