The Aeronautics Competition Offers 243 Vacancies for High School Level with an Initial Salary of R$ 1,500 in Five Distinct Specialties. Registrations for the Competition Will Be Open from February 14
The new announcement published by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) regarding the Aeronautics Competition includes vacancies for entry into the Sergeants Training Course (CFS) in the first semester of 2023. To compete for the vacancies in the competition, candidates must be between 17 and 24 years old by the last day of 2023.

The 243 vacancies available by the Aeronautics are divided among 5 specialties: air traffic control with 96 vacancies, aircraft mechanics has 90, security and guard with 30 vacancies, munitions with 15, and finally, flight equipment with 12 vacancies. The vacancies in the specialties of aircraft mechanics, munitions, security, and guard are exclusive for males, while the vacancies for air traffic control and flight equipment are open to both men and women.

Registrations for the Selection Process
To register for the Aeronautics Competition, interested candidates must fill out the form available on the website of the Admission and Selection Division of the Aeronautics Specialist School (EEAR), from February 14 until the 14th of the following month. After filling it out, it is necessary to pay a fee of R$ 80.
How the Aeronautics Competition Will Take Place
The examination is divided into two parts, the first being an objective test on the subjects of Portuguese language, English language, mathematics, and physics. In the second part, a health inspection (INSPSAU), psychological aptitude test (EAP), physical conditioning test (TACF), and a complementary heteroidentification procedure (PHC) take place.
The first stage is scheduled for June 5. The second stage will take longer, occurring between August 16 and September 2, and the physical assessment will be from October 24 to 28.
The Aeronautics Competition will be held in 16 municipalities across the country: São Paulo (SP), São José dos Campos (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Campo Grande (MS), Curitiba (PR), Canoas (RS), Santa Maria (RS), Natal (RN), Recife (PE), Alcântara (MA), Manaus (AM), Belém (PA), Porto Velho (RO), and Boa Vista (RR).
The Sergeants Training Course (CFS)
Those who are approved in the Aeronautics competition will start the CFS in the first month of 2023, and the course will end in 2025. During this time, recruits will stay in a boarding regime. In addition to the initial salary of R$ 1,500, food, lodging, uniforms, and medical assistance will be guaranteed to those approved in the competition. After completing the CFS, the salary of the military will be around R$ 5,500.
