The company states that one of its universal commitments is to ensure that its projects contribute to the eradication of poverty, combat hunger, and social inequalities. The company’s ventures will bring life-changing impacts to thousands of families in the hinterlands of Bahia.

Municipalities Will Be Positively Impacted by This Initiative

There are 15 municipalities affected by the impacts of climate change, such as drought and desertification, that will be impacted through income transfer and job creation due to renewable energy projects.

These projects will contribute to accelerating the energy transition to combat global warming and alleviate the planet’s climate suffering. The five hybrid complexes of the company will prevent the emission of 32 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. It’s equivalent to planting 224 million trees per year.

“The purpose of Quinto’s existence is to be significant not only in the project portfolio but mainly to be giant in social transformation and environmental contribution. We have joined the Global Compact and committed to periodically report our progress regarding the SDGs.

Being officially announced as a member of this initiative fills us with pride but also increases our commitment to the world we live in,” celebrates Rafael Cavalcanti, CEO of Quinto Energy.
