Cisco Brazil Offers Thousands Of Free Scholarships For One Of The Professions Of The Future: Cybersecurity Course Aiming To Train Thousands Of Professionals By 2025

The Cisco CyberEducation announced on February 27 the opening of registrations for the tenth edition of its cybersecurity course program. More than 1,500 scholarships are being offered by Cisco Brazil, a great opportunity for those looking to qualify for a profession of the future. The cybersecurity course consists of three phases and focuses on individuals interested in working in technology and cybersecurity.

All About The Cybersecurity Course With Open Scholarships

Open to the public through the Cisco Networking Academies, the initial phase of the cybersecurity course provides training in “Network Defense.” Those approved for the scholarships can participate at their own pace in just 3 weeks. Those who complete the course for the profession of the future will be directed to the selection process.

At the end of this phase, the top 1,500 students will be selected for free scholarships for the professional training phase in cybersecurity.

In the third phase, students of the cybersecurity course will be able to apply the knowledge acquired in practice, through internship and job opportunities offered by the ecosystem of partner organizations. Know How To Register For The Cisco Brazil Cybersecurity Course

Those interested in qualifying for the profession of the future can register for free on the Cisco Brazil website and complete the CyberEducation Marathon course by April 6. Students must choose, at the time of registration, an academy where they will take the cybersecurity course. Eligible academies include Faetec, Senai, Senac, IME, FATEC, and many more.

Candidates must register at only one academy, and those who register at more than one will not be classified. It is worth noting that, since the first edition of the program for the profession of the future in 2020, Cisco Brazil has trained more than 7,300 professionals ready for the job market in cyber.

According to Gabriel Bello Barros, Head of the Cisco Networking Academy in Brazil, with the high demand from the market for qualified individuals in digital security, considered the profession of the future, this is a field that promises a lot and the expectations are for exponential growth.

Through this initiative by Cisco Brazil, which has already qualified more than 7,000 talents in nine editions, the company is supporting the training of this new generation for the sector and reinforcing its position as a leader in Security.

Investments In The Profession Of The Future

According to data from the latest Deloitte report on the future of cybersecurity (2025), at least 57% of companies worldwide expect to increase their investments in cybersecurity over the next two years, which will require more trained professionals for this role.

It is worth noting that CyberEducation was launched in 2020 with a focus on developing the new generation of cybersecurity professionals in the country.

The program is part of the Digital and Inclusive Brazil initiative and the Cisco Networking Academy and has already impacted more than 233,000 Brazilians. Therefore, do not waste time and take the first step toward your dreams by participating in the CyberEducation Marathon.
