The scope of the new contract will involve the provision of technical support services for inspection, maintenance services, process analysis engineering, and compliance support at the land and maritime facilities of the Operational Unit and Exploration and Production of Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará (UO-RNCE/ATP-ARG/MIANMAR) and at the Jesus Soares Pereira Thermal Power Plant.
Onshore, the company’s role will be to support Petrobras operations at the S7 base, in Alto do Rodrigues, in Rio Grande do Norte, and at Base 33, in Natal.
Offshore, Pratica will operate on the platforms of the Ubarana, Agulha, Pescada, Arabaiana, Atum, Xareu, Curimã, and Espada fields, with embarkation taking place at the Port of Guamaré, in Rio Grande do Norte.

Company Expansion
Aiming to meet the increasing demand in the Oil & Gas market in the Northeast, especially after the discoveries in the Sergipe/Alagoas Basin, Pratica had already announced the opening of a branch in Mossoró, in Rio Grande do Norte.
According to the company’s president, Sérgio Murilo, the company has been preparing by qualifying its workforce and other actions, “Prática is ready to meet the demand for oil & gas projects, especially the new platforms that are being planned for new fields,” he stated.
Founded in 1999, Prática Engenharia has carved out a space and become a respected company in the solution and engineering of civil, hydraulic, and electrical works, as well as in the design of electrical projects, having even successfully participated in supplying electrical modules for Platforms P-66 and P-69.
The president of Pratica also stated that the company will continue to fight for equal conditions to compete with foreign companies in upcoming projects and is keeping an eye on the entry of new operators in the Potiguar region, such as the US $ 150 million investment by PetroReconcavo in the exploration of Mature Fields in Rio Grande do Norte.
