The Submarine Services Provider Oceaneering International Secured a Four-Year Contract with an Optional One-Year Extension from Petrobras
Oceaneering said on Monday that the contract was won by its subsidiary, Marine Production Systems do Brasil Ltda. According to the company, the contract will support intervention and completion operations in Brazil. The contract that Oceaneering signed with the state-owned company will be for the supply and operations of Drill Pipe Risers (DPR) with systems to control the Installation Workover, also providing project management, engineering, and support services.
The umbilicals will be manufactured in the city of Niteroi, in Rio de Janeiro, located at one of its bases.

This contract is estimated to generate a profit of 50 million reais for Oceaneering. The production of the assets will begin now in October, and the work will effectively commence in the third quarter of 2019.
