Is it true that there are dozens of infected people on board the P-67 platform?

Petrobras informs that it preventively disembarked eight employees from the P-67 for presenting flu symptoms, between March 21st and 22nd, according to the protocol adopted by the company.
As in these cases, the company has opted for preventive disembarkation, even if the symptoms do not constitute a clinical picture of the coronavirus.

What measures are taken when a suspected case is reported?

We follow up on all cases reported as suspicious on the company's premises and take all preventive measures, including disinfecting the workplace and monitoring people who had close contact with the employee.
We also adopt, as a precaution, even stricter criteria in facilities with confinement, such as offshore platforms. In these cases, even if the symptoms do not characterize a suspected case of coronavirus in the criteria of the Ministry of Health, the company can decide for preventive disembarkation.

On Sunday, 22/03, two employees tested positive for Covid-19, both working in the state of Rio de Janeiro. One of them operates on a boarding basis, was on vacation and was not at the company's facilities after the contagion. The other operates under an administrative regime and, as soon as he reported the symptoms to the company's health team, all preventive measures were taken.
So far, four Petrobras employees have tested positive for Covid-19.

Was any Petrobras building or floor evacuated as a result of coronavirus infection?

No. Petrobras buildings are at minimum occupancy, restricted to essential activities that cannot be carried out remotely. The company has been adopting all preventive measures and, when someone has respiratory symptoms, even without qualifying for the clinical assessment for coronavirus, cleaning procedures are reinforced. Some photos that are circulating depict cleaning procedures. There is no evacuation of floors or buildings.

Will refineries stop because of the coronavirus?

Information disclosed on social networks about the closure of the company's refineries due to the Covid-19 pandemic does not apply. Spreading fake news in the face of the adverse scenario that our society is currently facing is an irresponsible and criminal attitude. Petrobras will take the appropriate legal measures with the police authorities.

Petrobras reinforces that it is taking a series of measures to preserve the health of its employees, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health. The actions taken so far have not had any impact on the company's production. Operations on platforms and refineries are still normal.

Among the measures disclosed by Petrobras is the reduction of staff to the minimum necessary for the operation of its platforms. Will this impact production in any way?

There is no impact on our production so far. It is possible to operate the platforms with reduced staff without compromising the production and safety of the company's operations. We will continue to monitor the developments of this crisis to reassess this issue on a daily basis.

Is it necessary for all employees working on the platform to take the coronavirus diagnostic test before boarding?

The information that all workers will be tested for the presence of the new coronavirus before boarding is false. Before boarding, all employees will undergo a prior isolation period of 7 days and will be examined at the boarding points. People will undergo an assessment of their health condition, which includes measuring their body temperature.

Does Petrobras intend to adopt more restrictive measures to further reduce the number of employees circulating in its headquarters building and other units?

The company's current orientation is that all employees who carry out administrative activities that can be done remotely should adopt telecommuting. After wide dissemination of such guidance on Monday (16/03), more than 70% of workers allocated in the Headquarters (Edise) and Senado (Edisen) buildings, in the center of Rio de Janeiro, are already in home offices.
Due to the nature of Petrobras' activity, even in administrative buildings, there are employees performing functions that cannot be carried out remotely. The company is assessing the need for new measures on a daily basis, with the support of the permanent committee created to monitor the evolution of the global health situation caused by the new coronavirus.

Did Comperj's work stop because of the coronavirus?

In Itaboraí, the number of workers at the site has been reduced and everyone is undergoing daily body temperature measurements. Lunch and transport routines were reorganized in order to prevent crowds. Workers with suspicious symptoms are being referred to residential quarantine.

Has the movement of employees to get to the boarding points on the platforms been impaired due to the restrictions imposed on intercity and interstate buses?

We maintain an ongoing dialogue with government entities so that the buses that transport our employees can circulate, following the necessary preventive measures.
