Petrobras reported yesterday (10/02), in a fact relevant to the market, that it obtained an excellent operational performance in 2021, reaching all production targets for the year. See below the highlights of 2021 achieved by Petrobras
– Beginning of production on the FPSO Carioca, on August 23, the first platform in the Sépia field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt. During the year, 3 new producing wells were interconnected and currently operated production is above 130 bpd;

– Completion, on July 18, of the ramp up of the P-70, in the Atapu field, in less than 13 months. In this way, the platform reached, with 4 producing wells, the operated production of 161 thousand bpd, surpassing the nominal capacity of the project;
Petrobras breaks annual record for gas utilization with 97,2% of the gas produced
– Annual record for gas utilization with the mark of 97,2% of the gas produced. This record makes a significant contribution to reducing emissions and increasing carbon efficiency.
– Signature and effectiveness, on September 1st, of the co-participation agreement for the Búzios field, which regulates the coexistence of the Assignment of Rights Agreement and the Agreement for Sharing Production of the Surplus of the Assignment of Rights for the field. Thus, it now holds 90% of the exploration and production rights of the excess volumes, excluding the PPSA portion, and 92,666% of the volumes of the shared deposit;
In May 2022, the state-owned company's stake in the shared deposits will be respectively 65,69% for Atapu and 55,30% for Sépia.
– Acquisition, on December 17, of exploration and production rights for volumes exceeding those of the Assignment of Rights in the Atapu and Sépia fields. Petrobras exercised its right to act as operator, with a 30% stake in the winning consortium for Sépia. For Atapu, in turn, the consortium will be integrated by Petrobras as operator, with a 52,5% stake.
With the start of effectiveness of the Production Sharing Regime in Atapu and Sepia, scheduled for the beginning of May 2022, Petrobras' interests in the shared deposits, including the portions of the Assignment Agreement and Concession Agreements and excluding PPSA's share will be respectively 65,69% for Atapu and 55,30% for Sépia.
