Alumar director Helder Teixeira said that, with the entry of the new line, the multinational will produce 447 tons of aluminum by the first quarter of 2023.

A member of the Smelter Operation team at Alumar (Alcoa Unit in São Luís-MA), the Smelter Operator will be responsible for performing routine tasks of operating industrial equipment, cleaning and organizing the area, operating all activities according to the area activities, such as:
- Vat Room;
- electrodes;
- Casting;
- Alumina, Bath and Compressors (ABC).
Requirements:
- Education: Complete High School;
- Desirable: To have participated in any Alumar Operator Training Program eg: Young Apprentice (OPMA) and/or knowledge/experience with reduction operation;
- Basic knowledge of ABS (Alcoa Business System), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and EHS (Health, Safety and Environment);
- Availability to work shifts and/or administrative hours;
